Namibia highlights

Uncover cultural gems, savor culinary delights, and embark on adventures tailored to create unforgettable travel experiences.

6 Days Namibia Flying Safari

On this Namibia safari, fly between two premier destinations and stay in some of Namibia’s most remote and luxurious properties. You’ll begin with a light aircraft flight from Windhoek into a private reserve within the Namib Desert to visit the dunes of Sossusvlei with guided activities included. This is certainly a photographer's haven. Your Namibian adventure ends in style at the incredible safari destination of Etosha, home to a large salt pan visible from space and, of course, the Big 5.

DETAILED ITINERARY

Upon arrival at Windhoek Airport, you will be met by your luxury transfer, which will take you a short distance to The Weinberg Hotel. The hotel's elegant architecture wraps around a heritage building, which forms the heart of the Am Weinberg Estate. It also features restaurants of different culinary styles and the appealing Life Day Spa.

Spend the rest of the day relaxing and recovering from what might have been long international flights. You can head into the city for dinner at one of the best-known restaurants in Namibia - Joe's Beerhouse!

Today you will be transferred back to Windhoek Airport to meet your light aircraft flight into the Namib Desert, Kulala Wilderness Reserve

Activities are included during your stay at Little Kulala, so we recommend you wake up early to climb the iconic sand dunes at sunrise. Alternatively, you can discuss the option of soaring above this breathtaking landscape in a hot-air balloon, which is an additional cost.

Other activities you can enjoy today include a nature drive in the Kulala Wilderness Reserve to spot the desert-adapted wildlife, a dune walk or an eco-sensitive guided quad bike excursion. In the evening, you can enjoy a gin and tonic on a sundowner tour, or after dark, you can join a star-gazing excursion with a knowledgeable guide.

Today, you travel from the desert to the wildlife spectacle of Etosha National Park. This park can be visited throughout the year, as it offers something special every month. However, it is widely recognised that the Dry season (July to October) offers the best chance of wildlife sightings.

Early in the morning or just before dusk, a game drive in a safari vehicle with an experienced guide at the helm, will be a highlight of your stay in the bush. As a private game reserve, Ongava offers a vast area to explore, and ample opportunity to encounter a wide diversity of wildlife up close.

After a morning activity at Ongava Lodge, fly back to Windhoek for mid-afternoon where you can catch any onward travel.
